Qualifications
- Loss Recovery management experience and/or Claims management experience preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large, national loss recovery organization, collaborate with senior leaders to create business plans that align to organizational strategies; develop the operations talent pool; develop and implement plans that improve operational effectiveness; develop and champion innovative solutions to complex problems; and sponsor/promote change initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, claims handling, insurance legal & regulatory environment, claims processes, applications/systems and procedures, medical terminology, and finance as normally acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent and 10 years of progressively more responsible related work experience
- Advanced degree or certifications preferred
- Advanced skills in the areas of leadership, operational excellence, business strategy and analytics, engagement and development of talent, execution, and problem solving; 5 years of managerial experience required
Pay Philosophy:
The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
