Innovation Apprentice

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westborough, MA that is seeking an Innovation Apprentice. This is not a fully formed engineering role - rather, it's an early-career, high-potential apprentice meant to learn, contribute, and grow.

Responsibilities:

* Support innovation initiatives across teams

* Gain exposure to development workflows and tools

* Assist with research, experimentation, and early-stage solution exploration

* Work across the broader technology landscape (entire Intel ecosystem, thermometer-related initiatives)

* Learn through hands-on contribution rather than owning production-critical systems

REQUIREMENTS:

* Entry level (0-1 years of experience)

* Strong interest in software development and innovation, but not expected to be fully ramped technically

* High motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn (-hungry- candidates)

Preferred Schools (Reach Search Focus):

* Amherst College

* Northeastern University

Key Traits:

* Curiosity and coachability over deep technical mastery

* Interest in innovation, experimentation, and learning by doing

* Strong work ethic and eagerness to gain real-world experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
