Mental Health Technician; MHT

Positions - Various Shifts Available (7:00AM-3:00PM, 3:00PM-11:00PM or 11:00PM-7:00AM)

This opportunity has variable time commitments (Full-Time
- Days, Evenings and Nights) with opportunities for additional hours.

The Mental Health Technician, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. The Mental Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital’s mission and core therapeutic principles.

• Conducts patient observation and rounds according to defined policy and procedure
• Observes and monitors patient’s progress and reports observations to appropriate staff.
• Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living skills as necessary.
• Provide appropriate supervision of patients’ activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Psychology degree preferred.

• Experience in an inpatient or outpatient behavioral healthcare treatment facility is a plus.

• Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment

Salary: $43,680 - $62,400 per year.
