Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA role at Synchrony Health Services
Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) under the direction of a Physical Therapist, providing therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment. You will collaborate with the care team, implement treatment plans, observe patient responses, document progress, and provide education to patients and families.
Job SummaryResponsible for delivering high‑quality PTA services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities. Must maintain accurate documentation and report findings to supervising physical therapists. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Licenses and Certifications- Current, valid state PTA licensure or certification
- Current valid CPR certification (preferred)
- Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
- Experience: 0‑1 years
- Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
- Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and रुपमा support continued Dion at home.
- Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
