Senior Accountant

Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with proven experience in the healthcare sector. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering accurate financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end/year-end close, and account reconciliations.

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports, ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations.

+ Coordinate audits, monitor internal controls, and ensure adherence to GAAP and healthcare-specific standards.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue cycle management, billing, and cost reporting.

+ Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost savings within accounting workflows.

+ Support senior leadership with financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives tailored to healthcare operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

+ 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in healthcare or a related industry.

+ Strong knowledge of healthcare accounting practices, revenue recognition, and regulatory requirements.

+ Proficiency with healthcare ERP/accounting software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

+ Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
