CNC Milling Machinist; 1st & 2nd Shift

Position: CNC Milling Machinist (1st & 2nd Shift)
DESCRIPTION:

Machinist sets up and operates conventional, special purpose and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to manufacture parts by performing the following duties:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.

* Cuts material as required by shop router and sign off operation on shop router.

* Works in accordance with OSHA Safety regulations.

* Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.

* Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, signs off operations on router.

* Be sure that 1st piece inspection is performed as required.

* Keeps work area and machine clean, neat and safe.

* Performs other duties as required or instructed by Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Preferably a US Citizen.

* Some experience preferred.
