Truck Driver

Primary Responsibilities
: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

• Provide service as needed within Trucking Department (i.e. Sanitary Service, Warehouse Delivery Service, Food Service and Car Washing), and other Trucking Services as needed.
• Provide customer service as needed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections per DOT guidelines
• Follow all DOT rules and regulations

Secondary Responsibilities
:

• Able to perform additional duties during emergency situations
• Required to assume duties of all positions in motor services off season

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week, days off varies
• Weekends and holidays

Past Work Experience Requirements
: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

• Customer service experience preferred
• Work in Transportation/Logistics Industry a plus

Educational Requirements
: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements
:

• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Ability to communicate well with guest
• Must relate well with guest
• Maintain good working relationship with hotel staff
• Ability to provide a 5-Star atmosphere

Technical Requirements
:

• CDL (Class
  
  B) required
• Passenger endorsement required
• Ability to drive standard transmission
• Knowledge of regional area (Roanoke, Beckley, Charleston, Washington, and Richmond)
• Ability to read a map

Computer/Experience

• Experience with Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database, Programming, Calendars, Internet
