Solid Waste Services of West Virginia is looking for reliable and dependable Driver Helpers to play a critical role on the solid waste collection team. The position requires you to ride on the back of a trash truck and perform several essential roles, such as assisting the driver to safely navigate the truck, front line customer service, and collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
• Requires constant lifting, walking and climbing onto and off of truck.
• Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion

Compensation

• $12.00/hour
• attendance bonus!
