Caseworker – Home Improvement Agency
Salary: £38,976 – £47,229 per annum
Location: Ground Floor Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ
(covers Wandsworth and Richmond boroughs)
Job Type: Permanent, Full time (36 hours per week)

The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Caseworker for our in‑house Home Improvement Agency. The ideal candidate will have experience within the HIA sector or related areas such as Housing, Social Care or Benefits advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Visiting residents in their homes to undertake financial assessments
- Completing a holistic checklist and understanding the different types of adaptations undertaken by the HIA
- Working closely with Occupational Therapy, local authorities and partner organisations to support clients’ independence
- Delivering support to vulnerable clients (old age, physical disabilities, mental health)
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Understanding of adaptations that support independence
- Experience working with local authorities and partner organisations (e.g. Social Services, OT, external contractors, housing associations)
- Experience undertaking holistic assessments and delivering support to vulnerable clients
- Knowledge of housing issues and government grants
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
