What you will have an opportunity to do:

Maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, kitchen equipment, plumbing and carpentry repairs. This position specializes in the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment & controls.
* Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Availability to work various hours including evenings and weekends.
* 2 years’ experience in equipment or building maintenance.
*
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Identify problems, initiate work orders, and complete repairs.
* Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
* Maintain logs in an organized manner.
* Complete duty rounds / checklists and correct noted problems.
* Use office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems, (training provided).
* Basic computer skills to view electronic documents, search for manuals & information.
* Installation of electrical systems & controls.
* Troubleshoot electrical & control system problems.
* Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
* Adhere to the policies for the handling of sensitive data.
* Aid in other job classifications as determined by immediate supervisor.
* Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department.
* Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
** REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
*** Ability to read blueprints.
* Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
* Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
