WhatYou Will Have An Opportunity To Do
Maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, kitchen equipment, plumbing and carpentry repairs. This position specializes in the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment & controls.
What are we looking for?- Journeyman or Master Electrician’s license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability to work various hours including evenings and weekends.
- 2 years’ experience in equipment or building maintenance.
- Identify problems, initiate work orders, and complete repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
- Maintain logs in an organized manner.
- Complete duty rounds / checklists and correct noted problems.
- Use office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
- Basic computer skills to view electronic documents, search for manuals & information.
- Installation of electrical systems & controls.
- Troubleshoot electrical & control system problems.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
- Adhere to the policies for the handling of sensitive data.
- Aid in other job classifications as determined by immediate supervisor.
- Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department.
- Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent and courteous customer service.
- Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside in possible inclement weather. Must be able to work at various heights on lifts, ladders, roofs, etc.
- Must be able to see color to discern color‑coded wiring.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Uses a variety of powered and non‑powered hand tools used in the typical maintenance processes of a Resort complex, including, but not limited to hammers, screwdrivers, drills, drill press, vise, pipe wrench, saws, and shovels. Uses computers, printers, and telephones in the process of administrative tasks.
