G.A. West & Company has an immediate need for Aluminum Tig Welders in Apple Grove, WV. The position is expected to last 4-6 weeks, possibly longer. Per diem is available for those who qualify. See below for details:

Duties and Responsibilities

Set up welding equipment and tools (MIG and TIG)
Review blueprints for specifications
Weld, cut, and grind aluminum of different widths
Weld various metal components together with efficiency and precision
Perform various types of welds including straight lines, curves, and circles, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
Finish and inspect products for quality
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and in adherence to quality guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications

3+ years of welding experience as a TIG Welder in a similar fabrication or manufacturing setting preferred
MIG or TIG Certification (preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of different welding techniques, materials, and their properties
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent time management skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks
