Surveyor Helper Pay Range:

* $20-$30/hour

* Paid WEEKLY

Surveyor Helper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Help gather and research previous survey evidence, drawings, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.

* May assist in keeping field notes and performing sketches as necessary to describe and certify work performed.

* Set up survey instruments, backsights, etc.

* Learn how to perform the duties of a surveyor for the company and strive to be a stand-alone surveyor.

* The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Surveyor Helper

Qualifications:

* Should possess good math skills, understand how to read a standard tape measure and have an understanding of basic hand tools (wrench, hammer, level, etc.)

* Any technical training such as computers, machinist, and or/or industrial technology is a plus.

* Must be willing to travel and provide hand tools as required for the job.

Surveyor Helper Physical Demands:

* Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently, possess the ability to work at heights if required, be ability to work in extreme environments and be able to adapt to different situations as required.

* Excellent vision or correctable vision.

* Requires a large amount of walking on the job site.

This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards. Compliance with this requirement is a fundamental condition for employment.
