Forquer Contracting is looking to add a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to our team.
We are a growing excavation company specializing in support work for the oil & gas and coal industries. Our fleet includes a wide range of heavy equipment, and we’re looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated individual to help keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, trucks, etc.)
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- Completing repairs in both shop and field environments
Qualifications:
- Experience working on heavy equipment (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently
- CDL is a plus, but not required
