Job Description: The Heating & Air Conditioning Mechanic II/General Maintenance Employee is primarily responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems/related equipment and performing other maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Holds a high school diploma or GED
- Has successfully completed a two-year vocational or equivalent training program in heating and air conditioning
- Possesses certification required by Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act
- Holds “General Maintenance” and “Heating & Air Conditioning” classifications
- Verified work experience as HVAC mechanic
- Experience with chiller, closed‑loop systems, Trane UPCM, Trane TUC, and Andover Controls preferred
- Experience with kitchen appliances preferred
- Holds CDL or willing to obtain a commercial driver’s license with Class A endorsement
