Essential Job Functions
Position: Casino Security Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities :
- Supervise a Casino Security shift or special assignment
- Direct, coach, counsel, and mentor subordinate personnel regarding work-related performance, behavior, and appearance
- Provide regular feedback to team members regarding work-related performance, behavior, and appearance
- Identify, recognize, and/or correct performance behaviors as appropriate
- Provide, schedule, and/or oversee training for subordinate personnel
- Ensure shift responsibilities are carried out regarding assignments, special events, scheduled maintenance and compliance requirements, record keeping, asset protection, inventory control, etc.
- Direct and assume initial command for responses to emergencies in the Casino
- Direct and monitor responses to Security calls, incidents, and events
- Direct and monitor responses to emergency medical calls
- Ensure that all Casino Security personnel are briefed and trained on appropriate standard operation procedures, "IN Law, Rules, and Internal Controls."
- Ensure appropriate notifications are made during unusual occurrences.
- Review and act on assignment needs that would involve the scheduling of extra work.
- Provide security service for the Casino.
- Conduct currency, chip, drop box & drop team escorts for the Casino operation
- Issue access cards and temporary vendor as needed.
- Respond to emergencies as a Casino Security Captain.
- Respond to Security calls, incidents, and events.
- Coordinate with the Casino Manager on duty regarding unruly, disruptive, or guests exhibiting suspicious activities.
- Provide First-Aid Response
- Stand at the Casino access point, determine access and provide information about the Resort and Casino.
- Communicate in clear understandable English language via two-way radio, telephone, computer, and hard-copy written information
- Oversee and coordinate uniform and equipment needs for subordinate personnel
- Record and disseminate appropriate information regarding access
- View, recognize, and act on appropriate security issues from active observation by utilizing the CCTV camera displays
- Process and record CCTV images of interest and pertinent to investigations
- Review, check, and process entering and exiting personnel for rule compliance
- Monitor, interact & respond in a timely manner to the fire alarm, life safety & security systems
- Ensure guest and team member safety and security
- Direct, monitor, and conduct investigations and write clear, concise reports
- Review submitted reports for completeness, accuracy, and follow-up.
- Enforce company policies and procedures along with ensuring facility security
- Engage in positive Guest and employee interaction, under all types of conditions
- Provide and portray customer service and hospitality through consistent demonstration of the Greenbrier Standards .
- Ability to handle extremely stressful situations
- Maintain professional calm demeanor during encounters with guest, visitors, or team members
- Maintain professional (clean, neat) appearance
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Stand at an access point post, determine access, and direct traffic, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Drive a department patrol vehicle on public and private, improved and unimproved roadways, trails, paths, including mountainous terrain.

- Conduct foot and vehicle formal fire-watch patrols utilizing electronic recording devices
- Assist in Hotel Security operations and/or events when directed.
Normal Working Hours :
- Shifts TBD and consistent with minimum of 40 hours per week, may increase due to house / guest counts and subject to varying hours and days off.

Past Work Experience Requirements:
- Greenbrier Security and/or Casino Security experience preferred
- Preference may be given to current WV Lottery Commission Occupational License Holders
- Demonstrated hospitality or related experience
- Law enforcemen
Umilitary and/or Firefighter/emergency medical service experience preferred - Security service experience preferred
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
