Overview
Truck Enterprises is seeking a Truck Sales Representative to prospect and maintain customer relationships within an assigned territory, selling new and used trucks. The company is a Kenworth/Isuzu truck dealership group with 80 years in business.
Duties And Responsibilities- Prospect and maintain customer relationships.
- Stay informed on market trends and customer needs.
- Develop strategies to secure orders.
- Utilize specifications program.
- Coordinate with internal departments (parts, service, finance/insurance, marketing).
- Handle customer complaints and follow up on all leads.
- Report on competitive activity.
- Stay updated on product offerings.
- Maintain records and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong product and industry knowledge (truck/heavy equipment sales preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs.
- High energy and a positive attitude.
- CDL required or ability to obtain.
- Experience in direct sales or related industries is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Progressive environment with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, training and personal development.
