Position Overview

The Outside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving new business growth. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored technology solutions. You will work directly with business owners, executives, and IT decision-makers to showcase how the company can strengthen and support their operations.

Job Duties
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients within assigned territories.
  • Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and consultations to understand client pain points and recommend MSP service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and referrals.
  • Work with Technical Engineers to prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to accurately scope client requirements.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, and touch points with potential clients.
  • Represent AMG Network Hosting with professionalism, integrity, and a client-first mindset.
Pay and Shift

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay is $514 per hour plus commission.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in outside sales; experience in MSP, IT services, telecom, or cybersecurity sales preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technology fundamentals (networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, etc.) or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite client visits.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships.
