Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen foods, bread, and bakery products.;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels and assist in inventory management and pricing standards.;
Train associates in proper stocking, rotation, and safe handling of perishable products.;
Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.;
Ensure customer needs are addressed and maintain sanitation standards in the Perishable departments.
