SummaryResponsible for the completion of a variety of tasks related to the preparation and service of food to customers, and maintenance of a clean and pleasant dining environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Greet and thank customers.
- Place customer food and beverage orders verbally or via automated systems.
- Relay orders to kitchen operations.
- Cook, prepare, package, and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment, following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Stock kitchen and customer service areas with necessary materials.
- Stock salsa bars with appropriate sauces, condiments, paper, and utensils.
- Fill customer orders as part of coordinated kitchen and service operations.
- Collect customer payments and return proper change using cash register.
- Unload deliveries of food, beverage, packaging, and serving materials.
- Clean interior and exterior of restaurant premises, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, rinsing, polishing, and removing litter.
- Observe and follow alcoholic beverage laws when applicable.
- Maintain safe public access to the restaurant.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
No supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsAn individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Speak English in positions requiring immediate customer contact.
- Learn POS Cash Register, Kitchen Screens, Recipes.
Regularly stand, walk, talk, or hear; use hands to handle, reach, grasp, and carry items; lift weight from 25 to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work EnvironmentNoisy to high, varying conditions by season, day, and time; moderate to high noise level; work environment issues described above.
