• $35‑$47 per hour
• Paid WEEKLY

• Inspect structural steel for plumb, level, and elevation per AISC Codes and Standards.
• Inspect welding and handling of welding materials for compliance with drawings and governing standards.
• Inspect bolted and/or riveted structural connections, fastening materials, faying surfaces, tension, etc.
• Assist in the inspection of materials received on the job site.
• Assist in the inspection of all phases of steel erection, equipment installation, etc.
• Perform on‑site internal audits to confirm or establish compliance with AISC, AWS, and company QA/QC Manual.
• Ensures compliance of AISC and AWS Standards with company subcontractors.
• Work within guidelines provided in company QA/QC Manual and apply codes and standards offered by related governing bodies such as AISC and AWS.
• Work overtime and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Perform non‑essential functions as needed.

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the construction industry and/or welding.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) may be required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural steel drawings.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Must be able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet.
• Overtime and overnight travel required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must tolerate loud noises and temperature fluctuations.
