- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school or equivalent experience in pet grooming.
- Experience working in a veterinary or animal care environment.
- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques.
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for a variety of dog and cat breeds.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues and communicating findings to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with pet owners, addressing their concerns, and offering grooming advice.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best possible service to clients.
