A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in the Operating Room environment to support a diverse surgical service line in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position requires expertise with advanced surgical equipment and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple specialties including General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Cataract surgery.

Key Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure with a focus on Operating Room nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Olympus Endoscopy, Stryker laparoscopy equipment, with familiarity in Zimmer and Arthrex products considered a plus.
• Experience working with Cerner EMR system.
• Ability to manage a full OR schedule and respond effectively to on-call demands.
• Flexibility to work PACU shifts as part of on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams.
• Manage on-call responsibilities including evenings, weekends, and overnight.
• Support PACU operations as required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Schedule and Contract Details:

• 5 days per week, daytime hours from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
• On-call hours from 3 PM to 7 AM on weekdays, and extended weekend call from Friday 3 PM to Monday 7 AM.
• 13-week contract duration.
