Staff Today is seeking a LPN / LVN Long Term Care for a local contract job in Weston, West Virginia.

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a Hospital in Weston, WV. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $34 / hour
* W2
Shift Details:
- The individual must be on time, willing to work rotating shifts, including weekend shifts, able to work 12 hour shifts and willing to be mandated to meet the needs for the facility and requirements of the State of West Virginia.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV
- A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Prefer the individual to have psychiatric/ long term care knowledge and experience.
- The candidate must have an active status with current Licensure with no actions against license, have CPR and First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
Prefer the individual to have psychiatric/ long term care knowledge and experience.
