Operating Room Registered Nurse Location

West Virginia

This is a 13-week contract position.

The position requires four 10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with call required during nights and weekends.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a busy surgical environment. The unit includes three OR suites and one procedure room, handling a variety of cases including total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, general surgeries, and more. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential in this innovative and traveler-friendly department.

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor patient progress pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in the OR setting; prior travel experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to respond to call within 30 minutes, dressed and ready to work.
