The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care in a continuous quality improvement environment. This includes directing patient teaching and supervising ancillary personnel, while adhering to MHS Standards of Excellence and maintaining confidentiality.

• Location: Sistersville, WV
• Type: Full Time
• Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift

• Participate in bedside shift reports and hourly rounding.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments.
• Coordinate patient teaching for discharge and document appropriately.
• Implement and monitor nursing interventions, document in Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and recognize patient condition changes.
• Manage patient care effectively and delegate appropriately.
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to hospital policies.
• Perform triage, data collection, and develop care and teaching plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and utilize AIDET communication.

• Current Ohio or West Virginia RN license.
• BLS and annual stroke education certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within 1 year.
• Preferred: ASLS certification.

• Verbal, clerical, and manual dexterity, with good vision.
