Job Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Stroke Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and will be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule: Full Time Nights (36hrs/week)

The Stroke Unit is a 29-bed, Level II Stroke Center with state-of-the-art equipment and monitoring. Our team is based on teamwork, professionalism, and lifelong learning.

• Located on the fifth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West
• The unit offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, the Registered Nurse will independently perform systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plan and implement appropriate interventions; and evaluate effectiveness and adjust the plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
