- Flexible & Remote Telemedicine:
Evidence‑based approach via telemedicine, including asynchronous case review, video consultation, and e‑prescribing, lowers barriers to high‑quality, affordable care. - Supportive and Collaborative Environment:
Dedicated teams for member and provider support; 1:1 consultations with clinical leadership; interaction among colleagues through internal communication forums. - Measurement‑Based Care:
Technology measures symptoms, adherence, and side effects weekly and automatically triggers treatment reviews if patients are not improving. - Machine‑Learning‑Powered Clinical Decision Support:
Data match patients to medications for better outcomes; real‑time patient monitoring builds a highly effective decision‑support tool for antidepressant prescribing (Controlled substances are not prescribed at Brightside).
We’re seeking forward‑thinking and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who understand the magnitude of the need and want to be part of the solution. Providers use the latest tools, including a custom‑built practice management EMR and clinical decision support that is easy to use.

- Maintain all appropriate licensure to prescribe and dispense medications under applicable state and federal laws.
- Have excellent grammar, attention to detail, and be proficient at writing medical information at a patient level.
- Be technology savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care.
- Be pleasant, responsive, and willing to collaborate with our team.
- Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (remote), including synchronous video consultations and asynchronous messaging.
- Consistently respond to the clinical leadership team and be highly reliable to our members.
- Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and provide medication‑related counseling as needed in a timely manner.
Complete charting within 48 hours of each session. - Support a 72‑hour messaging response window for patients.
- Active and clear APRN license.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner certified in Psychiatric & Mental Health (PMHNP required).
- At least 2 years of autonomous experience practicing as a PMHNP post‑graduate.
- Previous experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Telehealth experience and high comfort level working with technology.
- Licensed in 4+ states (the more the merrier).
- 8+ hours of availability per week.
- Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred.
- Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid.
