Description

PURPOSE: We are searching for a Control Specialist with strong emphasis on PLC programming. The candidate should have experience in programming PLCs, adjusting, rewriting, editing programs, and performing upgrades on PLCs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to check installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending the English language for document control, equipment operation, and communication with supervisors and peers.

Proficient working knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, controls, and protocols is recommended.

Willingness to work other shifts and overtime as needed.

Availability to be on call to support production needs.

Computer skills to use email, compile reports, and maintain spreadsheets for parts and project tracking.

Willingness to work in uncomfortable conditions such as dirt, heat, and exposure to lubricants.

Ability to handle occasional heavy lifting of materials and tools.

Knowledge of robotic and CNC systems, including electronic interfacing, mechanical installation, design, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of automated production equipment.
