Tooling Manager - Injection Molding
Salary: $90,000-$125,000
Location: Prichard, WV

We're seeking a hands-on Tooling Manager with deep experience in injection molding to lead a high-performing team of engineers and technicians. This role is critical to maintaining the health of current tooling operations while driving future tooling projects from design through implementation.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance systems for all tooling projects
- Track project timelines, costs, and budgets for new tooling initiatives
- Provide technical support to production and troubleshoot tooling issues
- Design specialized fixtures and gauges for manufacturing needs
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and HSE teams to optimize tooling and ensure operational excellence
- Identify opportunities for cost, quality, and ergonomic improvements
- Support incoming tooling inspection and vendor coordination
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Manage documentation, quality compliance (IATF 16949), and participate in audits
- Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement across tooling processes
- 5+ years of tool & die experience in an injection molding environment
- Journeyman certification, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven leadership and team supervision skills
- Experience in progressive tooling design and manufacturing
- Strong planning, prioritization, and decision-making ability
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and physically support tooling operations on the floor
