• Supervise the department distribution functions, including reviewing orders and/or schedules to ensure activities are completed according to established schedules.
• Determine work priorities and assignments required to meet the established schedule.
• Coordinate staffing and equipment needs to accomplish daily operational objectives in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Maintain necessary inventory of materials and supplies in the work area to satisfy daily operational demands.
• Supervise the movement of finished goods through the warehouse from receiving through shipping and returns.
• Select, hire, train, and appraise Distribution Team Members to attain high-quality service and optimal productivity.
• Complete performance evaluations and provide continuous performance feedback.
• Provide a safe work environment that meets company safety guidelines while achieving departmental safety goals.
• Continuously measure/monitor performance according to established standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
