Position Summary
:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team with a primary focus on civil and commercial litigation. While litigation will be the core of this role, the attorney will also gain valuable experience in transactional matters, including business counsel, real estate, commercial transactions, nonprofit representation, estate planning, and probate. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development across key practice areas.

• Manage civil and commercial litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, court proceedings, and trials
• Develop a case strategy and participate in dispute resolution proceedings
• Assist with transactional matters, including business contracts, real estate transactions, nonprofit counsel, estate planning, and probate
• Maintain client relationships and provide responsive, practical legal counsel across multiple practice areas

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, organized, and committed to professional growth
