The Transformation Program Lead within the Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) Transformation Management Office leads large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that drive transformation across the enterprise. This role oversees high-impact projects focused on operational excellence, digital innovation, and strategic change - delivering measurable improvements in performance, efficiency, and organizational culture. Collaborating closely with business and technology leaders, this position defines roadmaps to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that support process adoption, foster innovation, and advance strategic growth.
As a champion of change, this leader promotes best practices and drives cultural evolution throughout the organization. This role is pivotal in achieving sustainable results within a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
- Lead the design, launch, and management of complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that optimize how we operate the business of ZTD and position Zoetis to double our business. Key initiatives include:
- Spearheading the various work streams driving our strategic transformation program, ZTD Forward
- Building end-to-end capabilities and services across the ZTD organization
- Leading our workforce strategy, helping to define the and prepare for roles / skills needed in the age of AI
- Enhancing our business value realization model to capture and track benefits throughout and post project go-live
- Proactively identify risks and barriers to successful implementation of capabilities, formulate effective mitigation strategies, and elevate critical issues to senior leadership when necessary.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Validate the financial viability and business value of initiatives using established cost-benefit analysis processes.
- Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program progress, impact, and value delivery, including designing and maintaining program dashboards for senior management updates.
- Ensure adherence to benefit checkpoints, confirming initiatives remain on track to deliver measurable value.
- Develop comprehensive post-implementation benefit realization plans, providing a structured approach to ensure forecasted benefits are achieved, or recalibrated to maximize value after execution.
- Maintain transparency and drive accountability throughout the process, sharing insights to inform post-implementation improvements and guide future investment decisions.
- Prepare and deliver clear program updates, executive briefings, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and governance bodies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, key stakeholders, business leaders, technical leads, and external partners to secure commitment to transformation goals and desired outcomes.
- Foster collaboration across business and technology teams to ensure effective implementation and successful adoption of new processes and technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Computer Science, Organizational Development or a related field required. Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of Program Management experience, with at least 2 years managing enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Program management, project management, change management, or other relevant certifications strongly preferred (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean).
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale digital transformation programs in a fast-paced environment while achieving committed business benefits.
- Exceptional change management capabilities with a proven track record of driving enterprise-wide adoption.
- Excellent leadership, influence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive strategic change, overcome resistance, and deliver sustainable results.
- Expertise in process improvement a plus.
Experience with program/project management tools and software required (e.g., Clarity, Agile, Jira, etc.).
Experience with change management methodologies preferred (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, etc.).
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTSSome travel per business needs.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $146,000 - $209,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base pay target range for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for short-term incentive compensation.
This position is also eligible for long-term incentives.
