Beverage Cart Attendant

Position:Golf Beverage Cart Attendant
Department:F&B/Golf Club

• Sell refreshments from the movable Beverage Cart on the Golf Course(s).
• Prepare food and beverage items for sale and consumption when assigned to Halfway House and Snack Bar
• Meet and greet guests
• Read and analyze starter sheets
• Know the courses and be able to assist anyone on the courses
• Know where to get information needed
• Stocking and keeping track of inventory
• Use Point of Sales computer system
• Clean and maintain facilities]
• Make change

• 10 hours per day in season between 7:00am-6:00pm, weekends and holidays required

The selected candidate must be able to uphold the Greenbrier’s Vision, as well as demonstrate the 12 Greenbrier Values of Safety, Honesty, Excellence, Respect, Empowerment, Pride, Teamwork, Loyalty, Commitment, Cleanliness, Responsibility, and Fairness.

• Public relations experience
• Food and beverage preparation and service experience preferred

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond accordingly
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff
• Ability to give and receive accurate information from guest, rangers, professional staff, and starters in a timely manner

• Operate P.O.S (Point of Sale)
• Possess basic math skill to include making change in a timely manner
• Knowledge of the game and etiquette of golf preferred

• Must be able to work independently

• Must be 18 years of age
• Able to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to adapt to change
