Position: Registered Nurse- ICU FT

Welcome! This position has the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The incumbent accepts accountability, applies competent clinical knowledge and independent nursing judgment for care provided by self and by health care providers to whom care is delegated to achieve quality patient care outcomes. This role is within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I & II, as defined in the job description.
The incumbent must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care relevant to the patient(s) under their care and apply growth and development principles over the life span. The role involves professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
Minimum Qualifications - EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state RN license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- EXPERIENCE:
- Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Qualifications - EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).

For facilities with specialty accreditation requirements: Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards. Training may be completed through CBLs, trainings, in-services, and competency validation.
