Minimum Qualifications Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:

Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related science field.
Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services MSM will be provided: WV:
Medical Laboratory Scientist License.

Experience:

Three (3) years' experience as a Medical Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:

Certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) or equivalent nationally 아무인 recognized certification body.

Coordinate the quality assurance plan for POC testing to reflect current TJC, CLIA and hospital standards. Review records for quality assurance and quality control to ascertain the reliability of reagents and laboratory equipment/instrumentation to assure timely accurate reproducible test results ensuring quality patient care through retrospective audits and root cause analysis of unique incidents. Initiate effective communication interdepartmentally and interdepartmentally, as necessary to assure dissemination of information and the identification/resolution of problems in support of the hospital's mission of patient care.

Participate in the educational endeavors of the institution to meet the current and future needs of the hospital, laboratory and the university in support of the hospital's mission of patient care, teaching, and research.
