Location:

• Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
• Graduate of an approved course for Medical Laboratory Technology.

• Membership in the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.

• Knowledge of and willingness to support SJGHEL’s Mission, Vision & Values of Compassion, Humility & Harmony, Respect, Integrity, Social Responsibility and The Sacredness of Life.
• Perform a variety of laboratory tests in accordance with CMLTO and the Quality Management Program Laboratory Services (QMP-LS) standards.
• Process and analyze laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently across multiple disciplines including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Bacteriology, Serology, Urinalysis, and Phlebotomy.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing and timely reporting of results.
• Record and communicate test results effectively to physicians and nursing staff, ensuring high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, including statistical data, test results, and laboratory documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in laboratory medicine and contribute to departmental improvements through training and procedure development.

• Bilingual
• Excellent attendance record
• Experience in general, clinical lab discipline
• Experience in Meditech software application(s)
