This position reports to the Controlling & Planning Process Lead.
The role operates in a hybrid work model and contributes to the Business Administration Function Finance in Mexico.
Your RoleOwn the challenge of delivering reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budgets, and forecasts. Support ABB Group management and stakeholders at various levels in their decision‑making processes. Evaluate the impact of strategic, financial and major investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial results within your area of responsibility and coordinate the preparation of management reports, including performance reports and financial statement commentaries on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Collaborate with reporting units and country teams to resolve inconsistencies in management reporting data.
- Contribute to FP&A initiatives across the group.
- Lead process improvement and cost‑saving initiatives to protect and enhance profitability.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A or related financial roles.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and MX GAAP.
- Experience in financial modelling (budgeting, forecasting, projections, estimations, etc.).
- Experience with statutory audits.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
