Site Engineer – Perth; Scotland

Our client is a large engineering company who operate predominately in the water industry. They have been awarded a large contract for the refurbishment and upgrade of a water treatment plant for Scottish Water and they are recruiting for a Site Engineer to help deliver this project successfully. As the site engineer you are responsible for setting out-line and level control for the site including adherence to the Q&A procedure set in place.

Key responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling and surveying the site (Drainage, FRC, Structural Steel, Roads, Services)
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
• Implementing quality control and health and safety matters on site
• RAMS Production and monitoring
• Sub-Contractor Management
• Material Reconciliations
• USC aware
• Occasional day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Preparing reports as required

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction
• Site setting out
• Levelling and surveying experience
