Civil Project Manager – Water

Salary Guide: £60,000 – £70,000 Plus Car/Allowance and Package

The Role:

Our client is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor who operate predominately in the water industry. They have been awarded a prestigious contract with United Utilities to deliver a refurbishment and upgrade project for one of their large clean water treatment works. This is a £120m project and one of the largest schemes being delivered in the UK for AMP
7.

You will report directly to the Project Director and you will form an integral part of the project delivery team and lead the Civil delivery for the project.

Key responsibilities:

• Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force
• Maintain the Company’s reputation on a project by ensuring good relationships are maintained
• Ensuring that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process
• Ensuring, in conjunction with the design manager, that an adequate technical, safety and environmental review is carried out for each project to ensure successful delivery
• Ensure all commercial aspects of the project are managed in a timely and proactive way giving accurate forecast and estimates
• Understanding and implementing the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Qualification
• APMP or equivalent
• Previous experience within water Sector
• CSCS Card
• Experience in using Primavera or Power project.
• Working knowledge construction Health & Safety
