Pulverizing & Briquetting Engineer (Full-Time or Consultant) – Mount Hope, WV

Carbon Activated Corporation is a global leader in activated carbon solutions, providing high-quality products and services to industries including water treatment, air purification, food & beverage, and energy. At our Mount Hope, WV facility, we are expanding our technical expertise in pulverization and briquetting to support new product development and large-scale production.

• Lead operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of pulverizing and briquetting systems.
• Develop process parameters to improve efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
• Train and mentor operations staff on equipment use, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical recommendations for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance.
• Act as the technical liaison with equipment vendors, especially Sahut-Conreur, to implement best practices.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in pulverizing and briquetting operations.
• Direct knowledge of Sahut-Conreur equipment (preferred).
• Proven record of optimizing process throughput, yield, and reliability.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in carbon, chemical, or materials processing industries is a plus.
