As a Trainee in Engineering and Product Management in Rauma, your potential roles could be in product design or product management within Deck Machinery and Motion Control, Thruster Systems, or Global Customer Support. During the summer traineeship you will develop your skills while taking part in interesting projects. Being proactive and a systematic thinker will help you succeed in this role.
This role is for students studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering, information technology, or hydraulics. Previous experience with 2D and 3D design tools is an advantage for product management and engineering trainee positions.
We offer following trainee positions for the summer 2026:
Manufacturing engineering trainee- Assist in tool design
- Specify equipment requirements for supply requests
- Analyze and update production data
- Engineering analysis
- 3D modeling and design of components
- Creating technical drawings
- Various additional support tasks for product management team
- System level hydraulic design
- Being a part of design team of new products and development process
- Component selection and calculation
- Communication with component suppliers
- Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation of engineering products and systems
- Being a part of technical design team and delivery process of products
- Develop skills in technical writing, editing and information structuring
