Mentor Teacher – National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holds National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification.
• Willingness to assist/meet with teachers enrolled in the NBPTS Certification Program.

* Please be advised that mentors will be assigned by the Level Director

SALARY : $600 per Assignment

LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:  SCHOOL YEAR

JOB DESCRIPTION: The NBPTS Mentor assists the candidate for NBPTS certification by providing suggestion for and editing portfolio materials, assisting with video taping and/or editing the video tape, providing other support as needed. Mentor agrees to review and provide feedback on each of the candidate’s entries.
