Specialized

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Art, PK-AD.

Additional Job Information: If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.

Priority Vote: These positions will be filled based on the priority vote held on December 19, 2025. This vote was held in response to the consolidation of Gerrardstown Elementary and Inwood Primary Schools at the end of the  school year in accordance with the 2022 approved Bond measure, the teachers in the affected schools shall receive priority in filling classroom teaching positions at Mountain Ridge Primary School in compliance with WV Code 18A-4-8f.

Unfilled Positions: Any positions not filled through the use of the priority vote will be reposted on or after April 1, 2026 and filled using the hiring matrix associated with WV Policy 5000.
