• Spelling Bee Coordinator- (as needed)
• Location: County
• Length Of Employment: 2025-26 School Year, (as needed) Instructional Term for Students and Other Time as Needed.
• Salary Per Year: $360
• Qualifications: The successful candidate must be a regularly employed professional educator within the county.

• Meet with appropriate central office staff to plan the event and review the timeline of activities and expectations.
• Serve as a liaison with principals and teachers involved in the event.
• Coordinate with appropriate outside agencies, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Maintain appropriate financial records, as needed.
• Coordinate appropriate follow-up activities and events at the regional, state and/or national levels.
• Secure the services of judges and adjudicators, as needed.
• Order trophies and other awards for participants.
• Complete all required reports, if appropriate.
• Prepare news release of county winners and provide to local media.
• Complete other relevant duties as assigned.
