• Position Type: Locum tenens physician (contract/travel)
• Location: Webster Springs, West Virginia (WV healthcare jobs, zip 26288)
• Facility: Critical Access Hospital, 25 beds, 5-bed Emergency Department
• Shifts: Night shifts, 8-hour duration (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); 6-12 shifts per month
• Contract Length: 6 months, with option to extend
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• Patient Volume: Annual ED volume of 5,500; all age groups
• Support Staff: Registered Nurses (RNs) and specialty physicians
• EMR System: CPSI
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $8,160 - $8,750

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or Family/Internal Medicine with significant emergency medicine experience
• Active West Virginia medical license (IMLC accepted; assistance with licensing available)
• DEA registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine clinical experience
• Credentialing process: 45-60 days

• Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a critical access hospital setting
• Manage acute medical, surgical, and trauma cases
• Collaborate with RNs and specialty physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient encounters using CPSI EMR system
• Perform special procedures as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
