PositionThe West Virginia University School of Medicine – Eastern Division seeks an Urgent Care Physician for (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Berkeley and Jefferson County and will be responsible for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows while providing urgent care services at multiple locations (Spring Mills, Inwood, and Charles Town).
Duties- Practice urgent care patient care and maintain excellent patient outcomes.
- Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Work shifts that vary and cover multiple locations across the Eastern Panhandle.
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent;
State medical license required. - DEA registration required by start date.
- Completed residency program in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
