Physician | General Hematologist/Oncologist | Jefferson Medical Center

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a General Hematologist/Oncologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate is expected to practice in Hematology/Oncology in West Virginia
.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology
. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship. Board certified or eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology
. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Our multidisciplinary teams use the latest cancer therapies, technologies, and patient-driven research in state-of-the-art facilities. The Department of Medical Oncology includes more than 75 physicians and advanced practice professionals at 15 practice sites across our multi-state network.
