Emergency Medicine Physician
- Summersville Regional Medical Center
West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Summersville, WV.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency program and be board-certified or board-eligible via a recognized board within ABMS. Emergency Medicine Preferred, FM/IM considered with significant Emergency Medicine Experience. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Nestled within a community of about 26,000 residents, Summersville is centrally located in the heart of the state. Summersville and Nicholas County provide low crime rates, low commuting times, combined with lower-than-average cost of living, excellent education systems and an abundance of close-proximity outdoor activities, including at nearby Summersville Lake, the Gauley and New Rivers. The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer.
