Salary: £40-75k (Neg DOE), car/allowance (dependent upon level) and excellent benefits package
The Role:
Our client is delivering on behalf of Severn Trent Water one of the largest and most varied water infrastructure improvement programmes in the UK.
You will be providing commercial support for projects, working closely with the operational teams.
Responsibilities:
Understanding and implementing the contractual requirements of project documents, including the roles and responsibilities of all involvedCost management for project/section of worksValue/change management for project/section of worksMaintaining project risk and opportunities scheduleAssisting procurement in the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, enquiries and negotiationsProviding training and support for junior commercial staff and operational staffIdentification, preparation and negotiation of claimsWorking in compliance with the contract management tools i.e. Asite (STW system), IFSFinal account, preparation, audit and agreementExperience:A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation.Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subjectFinancially astuteNEC3/4 knowledge and experience4-10 years’ experienceWater industry experience (desirable)Preferably qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation (desirable)Key Words:
